Moderate drought and abnormally dry conditions showing up on the drought monitor map in the northern two-thirds of Illinois.  Is that a big concern right now? Here’s State Climatologist Trent Ford.

According to Thursdays drought monitor update the northern 40% of Clay County is listed as abnormally dry an increase of almost 20% from last week.
