SENTENCING SET FOR THURSDAY 2/26/25 Aydreian
Hooper, 37, of Fairfield is set for sentencing tomorrow morning for the hot car
death of her 17-month-old son. In
December, Hooper entered a guilty plea to a Class-3 felony charge of child
endangerment causing the death of her son. In return for the plea, charges of
involuntary manslaughter of a family member, reckless conduct causing bodily
harm and child endangerment will be dropped. Because
the offense caused the death of her child, Hooper faces a maximum sentence of
10 years in prison. She
was released from custody after entering a guilty plea and was fitted with a
GPS monitoring device. Hooper’s
was arrested on July 14th of last year when temperatures soared
above 90 degrees. Aaruan’s brother, Gage Hooper Gonzales was also left in the
hot car and received a severe brain injury.
