JEFFERSON COUNTY DEAD BODY

According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office a Jefferson County man is dead following a report of a domestic disturbance with shots fired.

Deputies and detectives arrived at the scene around 1:20 pm.  Upon arrival they found the caller and primary resident, 61-year-old Leslie D. Borah.  The body of 33-year-old Adam M. Borah was found unresponsive following a search.  Jefferson County Coroner Roger Hayse declared him dead at the scene.

Illinois State Police Crime Scene Investigations was requested and responded to process the scene.  Leslie Borah was transported to the sheriff’s office.  He was arrested and charged for unlawful concealing of a death.  He was released from custody with a mandatory court appearance.
