IPRB BASIN CELEBRATION 2/21/25 The
4th Annual Oilfield Worker Appreciation Day will be held next Thursday,
in Carmi with lunch served starting at 11:30 am at the 404 Seed Station in
Carmi. The
event is free, and you can RSVP through Eventbrite, or you can follow the link

event will feature complimentary Illinois Basin Proud hoodies, stocking caps,
flags, stickers, T-shirts and caps and a complimentary
catered lunch from the Smokin' Pig in Grayville. This year’s theme will
be oilfield safety, highlighted by a lunch presentation from former oilfield
worker Mark Weiler. The Illinois Petroleum Resources Board is also
working on scheduling a safety training session and Petro Pros presentations
for local schools.
