ZEIGLER TEEN FOUND IN OHIO 2/18/25 The
search is over for a missing Zeigler, teenager. According
to Zeigler Police, the 14-year-old girl was located by police in northeast Ohio
late Wednesday afternoon. She had been reported missing early Tuesday
morning. Police
said events in finding her unfolded quickly on Wednesday after the teen made
contact with a relative who then contacted police. This led to a relay of
information and events, which included the name of a suspect connected with the
teen’s disappearance and real-time location in Massillon, Ohio. According
to Perry Township Police, their officers found the missing teen inside the
suspect’s vehicle during a traffic stop. Zeigler
Police said the suspect appeared to be en route to the police department in
Massillon. Perry
Township Police identified the suspect as 23-year-old Steven D. Myers. Myers
was arrested and booked into the Stark County, Ohio, Jail on an interference
with custody charge. No
other information is being released at this time, but police said the case
remains under investigation.
