Beverley Lou Pyle, age 80, of Cisne, Illinois, passed away peacefully Monday,
February 24, 2025, at her home. She was born December 11, 1944, in
Fairfield. Beverley was raised by her
grandparents, Fonnie and Carrie Headlee and was a graduate of Fairfield High
School. She had worked at Winpack Portion Packaging, Inc. in Steger,
Cisne Rehabilitation Center, and at her daughter’s restaurant, ““Farmer T’s
Café” in Cisne. She enjoyed cooking—and especially enjoyed spicy foods,
browsing thrift and antique stores, watching western television, camping, and
tending to her horses. She is survived by her son:
Edward (Beth) Pyle of Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin; her daughter: Teresa Pyle of
Cisne; 3 grandchildren: Ethan (Amanda) Pyle, Jessica (Daniel) Booth, and
Jennifer (Peter) Waddy; 6 great grandchildren: Elanor, Lawrence, Sophia,
Jamison, Chloe, and Winslow; 3 nieces: Vicki, Elaine, and Joanne Cates; and
her horse and dog: S’mores and Snoopy. She is preceded in death by
her grandparents; her husband: Joseph A. Pyle; her aunts: Dorothy Mason, Marie
Pickett, Kathryn Cates, Irene Fuller, and Margaret Bunting; uncle: Thomas “Jr.”
Headlee; cousin: Thomas “Tommy” Headlee Jr.; and her horse: BB. A celebration of life ceremony
will begin at 12 noon, Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church in
Flora, with her son, Ed, officiating. Private interment will take place
at Maple Hill Cemetery in Fairfield. A memorial visitation will be held
from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at the church with the ceremony to follow.
Memorial donations are suggested to Calvary Baptist Church, and these will be
